Buckland Campsite is situated near the quiet village of Buckland Ripers, nestled in the rolling Dorset countryside close to the spectacular Jurassic Coast, the world famous Chesil Beach, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. There are lots of outdoor activities to get involved in from Kyaking, sailing, horse riding, hiking or cycling. The 2012 Olympics took place in nearby Weymouth and is well worth a visit.
There are plenty of near by good quality restaurants and your host at the farm will direct you to best places to eat out and visit. You can enjoy tranquil visits to local post card towns and villages of Abbotsbury, Milton Abbas, Corfe Castle, Evershot, Dorchester, Lyme Regis, West Bay and Bridport.
You can follow in the steps of Thomas Hardy who lived nearby and wrote his novels all about the area you will stay, there is no where nicer to stay. You can even see Hardy's Monument from the campsite!
