Terms and conditions

Prices are per night for one unit (ie. car or campervan, tent).

Please ensure pets are kept on leads at all times and not allowed to foul the campsite or annoy others, an exercise area is provided with foul bin (please see site plan). Please do not leave pets unattended. The management reserves the right to refuse admission and eject from the campsite any dog which it considers inappropriate and a danger to others

A strict 5mph speed limit applies on the campsite at all times.

Please respect the campers on our campsite, keeping noise to a minimum. We operate a quiet time between 10pm and 8am and require all campers to adhere to it. The management reserves the right to terminate the booking of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the farm/campsite or comfort of other visitors.

Council regulations insist that the campsite is for holiday use only, therefore working or trading from the campsite is not permitted.

Families, couples and individuals only, no groups of young people will be admitted.

For the comfort of other visitors we ask guests to arrive before 9pm on day of arrival and not to vacate before 8am on day
of departure.

For security the main entrance is secured by a code access barrier which only pitch holders are allow to use, it is not permitted to give the access code to any non residents. Campers are requested to vacate their pitch by 11.00 midday on the day of departure and arrive no earlier than 2pm on day of arrival.

Commercial vehicles and vans are not permitted on the campsite.

Kites must not be flown on the campsite due to high voltage electricity cables in the next field.

Chinese lanterns can be dangerous and are therefore not allowed to be used on the campsite.

We can reserve a pitch but cannot guarantee its availability.

We endeavour to maintain all services in a fully operational state but cannot be responsible for loss of water/pressure or electricity due to weather conditions etc.

Chemical toilets can only be emptied at the provided disposal point.

It is an offence to litter the campsite, please use bins provided.

Ball games that do not affect other pitches are permitted.

Open fires and Barbecues are permitted if located off the ground (Bricks are available at fire points)

Deposits are not refundable after your booking has been confirmed, and pitch fees cannot be refunded for inclement weather.
All persons staying on or visiting Buckland Campsite use the facilities provided entirely at their own risk,

Buckland Campsite and its owners cannot accept any liability for loss, damage or accident to persons or property.

Electric hook-ups are rated at 10AMP to supply camping rated appliances only.

In the event of serious weather conditions we may offer a tow off site service which is at your own risk. You should check that your insurance cover will allow secondary towing.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Clothes lines are not allowed for safety reasons.

Campers must allow a minimum of 3m between pitches for fire regulations. Fire points are located throughout the campsite.

In the event of any serious breach of the above conditions, Buckland Campsite and its owners reserves the right to terminate a holiday/pitch booking and ask offenders to leave the campsite.

Tent Usage

You must not use any cooking, or gas appliances of any kind, inside the tent.
Naked flames are used by the tent entirely at your own risk. No smoking allowed inside our tents.

Dogs or pets are not permitted.

Must observe quiet time between 10pm & 8am.

Hire period starts at 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12am on departure day.

You agree that Buckland Campsite and it owners or employees, accept no liability for any personal injury or damage to any persons or property suffered during the period of your usage of our facilities.

Force Majeure

You agree that Buckland Campsite will not be held liable for any: Act of God including tempest, fire, flood, storm or natural disaster; War, civil war, sabotage or act of terrorism; Government sanction, embargo, import or export regulation or order; Labour disputes, including strikes, lockouts, boycotts or other industrial action; Failure in the transportation of equipment, machinery or personnel or in the provision of any utility including power, gas, water, or communication services. This contract will be governed by the laws of England & Wales.
