Buckland Campsite sits at the heart of the Jurassic coast near the pretty village of Buckland Ripers just outside Weymouth, with its sheltered golden beach, and close to Dorchester, Dorset's county town.
There are a huge selection of walks, both long and short, in the surrounding countryside.
You are close by to walk the spectacular Jurassic Coast, visit the world famous Chesil Beach, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. There are lots of outdoor activities to get involved in from Kyaking, sailing, horse riding, hiking or cycling.

The 2012 Olympics took place in nearby Weymouth and is well worth a visit. There are plenty of near by good quality restaurants and your host at the farm will direct you to best places to eat out and visit.
You can enjoy tranquil visits to local post card
towns and villages of Abbotsbury, Milton Abbas, Corfe Castle, Evershot,
Dorchester, Lyme Regis, West Bay and Bridport. You can follow in the
steps of Thomas Hardy who lived nearby and wrote his novels all about
the area. There is nowhere nicer to explore.
